Hi all,

Ive been looking at some puig brake/clutch levers, some of the short ones. How much of a difference does having short levers make? does it make it easier to GRAB the brake as you're forced to use the old crab claw method or is it purely an aesthetics thing and doesn't really change the feel of it?

Are they worth the money to change?

They completely change the feel and the shaped design of the lever makes them easier to get your hand round (in my opinion). They can add adjustability if your bike doesn't currently have it. Just bear in mind that a shorty lever will need more force applied than a long one so make sure you have some pads with decent bite fitted.

Lots of people on here have fitted the Chinese 'Pazzo Style' levers that can be got from ebay for a steal. I have them on my FZ6 and they have been fine.

Not dangerous no, just different really. It will be absolutely fine - many people have them fitted. Thumbs Up

I bought a pair of cheapo Chinky (£15.88) shorty levers for my ER6F and they're fine, love 'em to bits. I did this on the premis that 'if they're shit, at less than 16 quid delivered who cares ?. The precision fit is actually far better than the original tack.
