Gilera DNA 125 (need advice)

I just joined the group and urgently need your advice and help about my Gilera DNA 125c.

1) every time I stop, the engine shuts down, unless I constantly pull the accelerator. The engine slows down and dies or works intermittently. It does not happen all the time, but quite often

2) i cannot speed up more than 40-45 km on the go. No matter how hard I push. The bike start choking and shooting, releases black smoke and the engine shuts down.

We cleaned the carburetor and checked the engine. The mechanic does not know where else to look. Any advice is appreciated

Does it rev OK when on the stand

The cutting out sounds like the idle needs turning up a touch its a screw on the top of the carb

Sort the idle first and you may solve the other problem
