It will affect the centre of gravity, alter the steering geometry and affect braking - but hard to say if it will be a good thing or not.
It might be better to fit adjustable footpegs or handlebar risers to give you a more comfortable riding position. ____________________ Honda Varadero XL125(V8)

I would have thought it would quicken turn-in slightly, similar to dropping the bike on the forks. In which case I would guess it could affect stability at speed a little. Not necessarily badly, but I noticed on dropping mine 10mm on the forks, turn-in did feel easier but felt a little more flighty at high speed. The trade off was worth it though, I felt. ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017

Just put a pad on the seat and see if that helps. You could probably get one with a nudey lady on it to suit your idiom. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Puts more weight on the front wheel, seems to sharpen up steering... but under heavy braking I found it lifted the back wheel quite a bit. That's some feat seeing I'm about 18 stone in all the gear. Makes back brake nigh on useless if you use it (I used to try and use both, now generally just use front).
The main issue I had was that it transferred the weight on the sidestand so the bike wanted to go walkies. Caught it twice after it tried to go for a walk after being stood for a few minutes. After that I went back to standard dogbones.
An issue you will have is that the suspension will need tweaking at the front (probably to soften it off).
Overall I'd say it's not worth, it, but not a big job to change them. I would recommend having a mate on hand to hold the bike while you jack up the shock to get the new dogbones in though. Just to be safe so the bike don't tip over... ____________________ 97 Thunderace. Power ok, weight a bit lardy. Or is that me? Anyway, both of us together=too slow. Next stop - Gixxer Thou or Busa!
