I noticed this on my radiator recently the overflow reservoir is on top of the rad, the bike was brand new, you think it was overfilled? the marks are white btw

It looks like water limescale to me, but I'm not there, I can't rub it between my fingers to find out. Exclamation

It might just be limescale... could this be a result from riding in the rain? the bike definitely has proper coolant in its system.

Almost certainly leaking anti-freeze. Clean it all off, see if it comes back - if it does then you need to track down if it is still just a bit overfilled or if there's a leak somewhere.
