Hey,

Ive been taking a look over the bikes wiring and when i took the cabling apart in the battery/ecu compartment I noticed that the 3 wires coming off the main fuse holder wasnt connected to anything

I am trying to follow the wiring diagram but I cannot trace it

Anyone know where it should be or what should be connected to it ?

Cheers

It's not unusual to find unused connectors on bikes and cars, often the loom has to be adaptable for different options in different countries or levels of specification, if everything on your bike is fine and working good then it's really not a concern.

You might find unused connectors for factory options that weren't fitted, or for a diagnostic socket, but these usually have colour-coded wires.

All black wires would most likely be for an alarm or immobiliser, so trace them back through the loom if possible - it could be wired so that 2 of the wires need to be joined to enable the ignition of fuel pump circuits, or one of them needs to go to live or earth - impossible to tell until you find the other ends, as some immobilisers can be wired in 2 or more different ways.

Dragstar 650 is carbed isnt it? Doubt its a diag port. Could be a power socket for a light bar? Though usually found in the headlight bucket.
