Hi,

So insurance is due on the 22nd, but I'm looking to sell the bike after it's MOT this month. I vaguely recall someone coming a cropper by getting insurance and paying monthly only to try and cancel a couple of months later only to find they still owed the full years insurance.

So, what would be the best thing to do, get MOT asap and try and sell within 3/4 weeks or buy full year insurance outright and get a partial refund after the bikes gone? (will I get a refund?)

Cheers

If you do decide to insure, just ask the company you go with where you will stand with cancellation on 'X' date.

You normally would only have to pay your premium in full following a claim on the policy..

Cheers - Forgot about SORN. MOT booked for Saturday - then to Bike Trader.

£1000 for a 10 plate cbf125 with 16000 miles is ok I reckon.
