This weekend I plan to strip my bike down and cut/weld the fuel tank for more capacity, make some disc bobbins to shut up my rattly discs and add some bits to my centre-stand to lift the rear wheel slightly higher so it doesn't touch the road if the surface is a bit uneven.

So, chilling out in the workshop. What about you?

I was hoping to do a bunch of bits on the divvy tomorrow but the parts haven't arrived Evil or Very Mad So that's the swingarm and rear wheel bearings plus the front forks rebuild off of the list until next time I have a chance.

Still, I plan to change over the rear caliper to an "as new" one I have at home. Also to try and seal my leaky exhaust up eventually. Also a new rear tyre.

All in aid of getting it through it's MOT next month!

Pending good weather I should be riding to Brighton to see my uncle. He's just picked up a new Audi R8 so I look forward to sitting in that on some country roads.

Saturday evening I'm going to see my parents. They've pulled in a lot of drink so I'm thinking it'll be a taxi back job after that one.

In between this I'll be tinkering with my new Fire TV to get it closer to how I want, replacing the stock KFTV Launcher and so on, getting some apps installed so it can control the former HTPC which is now a basic media server.

In between all that hopefully there will be time for some twisties, I still have barely tested the limits of those Pilot Road 3s on my Fazer and if the weather and the grip is there I really want to. That bike is still above me in terms of ability and I want to close that gap some more.

Planning on ripping the old, shitty carpet (one on top of another, and gawd knows how long they've both been there) out of the garage, which means shifting everything out. That's going to be no mean feat in itself. I have a feeling the floor might be a bit of a state underneath Sad

Oh, how I want my bike back! Then I can just run away from it all Laughing

You know you can't post anything until Monday now, in case that's your epitaph.

Might wash winter off of the Nazi Tractor, although that's tempting fate.

Yorkhill chaaaaridy run on Sunday with the Scootch massive.

To sort of quote Pepperami....Hmmmm? The Bank Holiday weekend? ...(thinks?) let me see...
Friday = working!
Saturday = car MOT
Sunday = relaxing, maybe out on the bike...
Monday = Working!
Then Joy of joys, Tuesday I`m back to work for the week...

Someone made an error and let lots of people have time off at the same time, then also some of them are off long term sick too. So I imagine my days to be crammed full of patients to visit... Neutral

Zed is now all back together and sounding like a tractor - not sure if I've eliminated so many rattles that it's now sounding like it should Confused
So I'm headed from the South-West to Bury St Edmunds on her this weekend (kill or cure!!) and then hopefully meet up with one or two others headed to the Southend Shakedown.

Replace my recently failed chain. It failed in a catastrophic way so was probably well overdue.

Fri = Was supposed to be fixing someones computer, but I have sniffles + his wife is ill and can't risk it. So in the garage to finally fit my homebodged metal supports to ST topbox bracket and several refinements over the last couple of weeks.
Also going to try and fettle SV's gear lever to get better fit for boots.

Sat = Testing out ST (with new brackets, mudguard extender and rad grill), seeing if gear lever height is right for new boots. Hooning down to the olds near Bognor.

Sun = Back to mow lawn, trim hedge, Ronseal fence, clean bike. I suspect 1 out of that list to be achieved.

Mon = Off to hookup with BCF South East Bummer Command somewhere round Epping Forest and head to Saarrfffend for the Shakedown

Have a good one all!
