I'll keep this short.
The rear shock absorber got an advisory on the mot for leaking fluid and being in shit state.
I've been looking around the usual places to try to find a replacement, only to discover they seem to be quite rare and when they do show up, they are absurdly expensive and out of my budget. I have stumbled across this on ebay and it looks to be reasonable, price seems good as well. Obviously there is some damage to it, is this likely to be an issue?

I'd ride with it like that.
Bottom bushing looks in good order. Even looks like the adjuster isn't seized, which is very unusual.
Be aware that it's pretty well used so no garauntees how long it's going to last but not too expensive. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
