Hi All,

recently when I am switching my r6 on , I can feel a bit of raw fuel smell from the exhaust .

is that ok , if not what should I start looking into ?

injection and spark plugs ?

does r6 have a fuel filter, I haven't paid attention .

Thanks

Does it work.

If so, stop worrying Laughing

Is it leaking?

Listen: what colour does it taste of?

Clean (or if necessary replace) the air filter, is the first thing I'd do.

What after market parts have you got? I.e air filter, exhaust, power commander etc...

Probably just running a tad rich, at start-up it chucks more fuel in any way to warm it up.

It'll just be auto-enrichment at cold start. Mine whiffs a bit fuelly first thing but she's fine.

If you're paranoid then track your MPG tank to tank for a month or two and see but oherwise, meh.
