Spell Checker question

When checking spelling on a post, when it finds a word which it doesn't recognize it offers you the choice of ignoring it, correcting it, learning it or suggesting it. What's the difference between telling it to learn a word to telling that I want to suggest it? Would be useful to know how they differ from each other so as to know when is appropriate to use each one.

I'd guess learn me means it remembers the spelling, while suggest should provide you with some alternatives

It provides you with alternatives if it picks up a wrong spelling, well it does if it has any but it general it does. Try the spell check but make sure you leave an error in there and it will pick it up andoffer you different choices of what to do.
