After further investigation into the bikes bad performance have now found that's it's running a sprocket set up of 16/38 as opposed the standard 14/41which will hinder the quite alot I have been told.

So. My question is, what front sprocket woukd you use to recreate the 14/41/,ie would 13/38 give the same gearing as standard if that makes sense, and do the cg125 use the same sprocket /chain as the c90.

13/38 would not be the same, but a damn sight closer to stock than 16/38!

There are plenty of combinations that would give you the same gear inches as stock, but why not just use stock?

If you want to only change 1 sprocket, you'll be looking at 16/47.

You can't match the gearing by keeping a 38 tooth rear sprocket.
