GSR 750 Exhaust Help

I'm wanting to make my GSR750 louder. Already got a decent end can and now thinking to remove the cat.

So to remove the cat, as far as I know there are two options;
1. Cut out the cat box thingy and replace with section of pipe (cheap option)
2. Replace whole header pipe thing with an already de-catted header (expensive option).

Is this the case or am I missing something? I'm after the cheapest, easiest and least feck-upable option. Any advice, guidance or alternatives welcome.
