Gilera DNA 50 problems

Hi guys, new to this site... I bought a Gilera dna 50 about a month ago and basically I got mugged off for £400. It has no power what so ever, it nearly comes to a halt uphill and only does about 30 :/ I sometimes have to push with my feet at junctions. He fitted it with a malossi clutch & malossi belt and I have recently added a 1500rpm spring on it and 5.7g rollers. Honestly I don't know what else to do... I'm not all that smart with bikes either... Would it be a good idea getting a sports exhaust?

You probably want a different set up if they've upgraded the rollers, ped tuning is wizardry though.

Yeah but when I first got it, it could do about 40 it has gotten worse since. When I got it he had also cut a hole in the exhaust 'to make it louder' which i have welded up. Also my uncle suggested the crank bearing seal?

Bog standard DNA 50's go ok. the best improvement is to take the spacer out of the variator cone halfs. Should get another 5-10 mph out of it with no engine mods.

As Paddy said, ped tuning is (expensive) wizardry.
