Do you remember the weekend, when it was hot. It was just before the current rain storms. Anyhow, decided to get a cooler jacket and found my way into Hein Gericke. Saw their air jacket, tried it, found it fitted and bought it with Hiprotec flexible armour (stops that square shoulder pad look). All for under £100. May go back next month and get the trousers to match. Very pleased Very Happy

Just like to say this is excellent in hot weather. Wore it while riding all weekend and actually kept cool. It's not rain proof, but then doesn't pretend to be either. Just thought I'd share this for when the rain stops and the sunshine starts, or for those lucky to go touring in Europe.

The downside is it's unisex style. My better half saw it, liked it and decided she'll be 'borrowing' it Sad Rolling Eyes

Funny you should post this.. I went to gericke on Saturday with the intentions of buying that jacket, but Gericke was shut! So have to go back later for it - glad to hear a review on it though! Sounds nice and lightweight but good protection - a nice comprise, and the price looks nice also!

I agree Smile

I have just bought textiles for the mrs to ride pillion, but wear them to go to work and also if its raining. They have a waterproof lining underneath the top layer and also a removable thermal lining. The only downside was having to buy the back protector and hip armour to go inside. Besides that I was well impressed Very Happy
