Just picked up some pads from Power Road this morning and discovered that Honda have recently raised the prices of consumables like brake pads by 25-35% which was a bit of a shock. This is apparently across both the car and bike ranges so be prepared the next time you have a service.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Huh, and they were making a big deal of offering parts at competitive prices. I wonder if folk are just hitting up eBay for pattern parts anyway and they reckon that if they can't do volume then they might as rinse every penny from walk-ins.

The only bike prices that fall are Suzuki's, and that's because they've rehashed the same old shit for 10 years and can't shift any.
