Another tyre thread must be the time of year

Bloke in the shop recommend them. I've seen loads of you recommend PR3/PR4, and a few votes for Dunlops too

Just wondered what the newest sports touring rubber from Bridgestone was like

I think I have (had to go and check before finishing typing this). They came as standard on my bike so I never went out and chose them deliberately. I've done just under 5,000 miles on them and they don't seem to have worn tread wise which has surprised me.

Haven't been over 110mph yet but they never even seemed to notice, very stable, gripped fine in the wet and the cold of February when I got the bike. I would buy them again if the price was right and depending how many miles I finally get out of them.

Maybe because they are talking about a touring tyre?

A bit of a grey area maybe but all tyres are touring tyres if you tour on them.

I've had them, I preferred the bt023 for some reason that I couldn't put a finger on, not that there was much in it, but when it came to replacement time I found myself going back to the 023's, that said when I can't get 023's any more I think I'll still go back to the t30's.

I just thought it made more sense here than in workshop, as it's marketed as a sports touring tyre and I thought most of you with any experience of the tyre might be visitors to this section.

Still, if the mods reckon it should be moved that's cool

Thanks for the advice. Reckon I might get a pair on this weekend. Currently got a BT-021 rear and Dunlop front (how the bike came). Tread's ok, but rear is a bit square.

Fancy a decent pair that can cope with a bit of wet as I'm not that weather shy, and will see me through a longer summer trip to Europe (fingers crossed) and a day at Cadwell in August. Thought these might be a better compromise than the PRs or Z8s

got them and i'm well chuffed in the first 70 miles. In fact I got the T30 evos as they'd run out of T30s. My old tyres were so squared off the bike just tips in beautifully now.

interestingly it's changed my brake feel too. I'm getting less feel in the lever, but stronger breaking as the forks dive faster
