 |
|
Ok, I'm hoping to go euro touring in summer, probably solo, and was thinking maybe it would be a good idea to invest in some sort of camouflage netting to cover up the shiny bike at night when wild-camping.
I've maybe camped twice when I was a kid so I don't know if this is a good and sensible idea or have I gone bonkers paranoid? ____________________ Honda CB500S |

I wouldn't bother, you don't need to worry too much about helicopters (or anyone else for that matter) actively looking for wild campers.
Choose somewhere that's suitably out of the way and nobody will see your bike, your tent, you when you're doing lines of coke, the massive bonfire you build, and whatever else it is you get up to that night.

Reading the thread title made me think of the Brown Dirt Warrior.

Get some cheap bells and hang them on your bike at night, or tie tin cans to it.
If you behave, like previous answers, and don't attract attention, the chances of theft are small.
