Well,

Unfortunately, the R1 has not had much of a run-in recently. Since breaking my wrist back in November, I needed to get some motivation to get back into shape and be better than when I was before, so I foolishly got goaded into entering the Forest of Dean MiniEnduro!

Put simply, I had a totally awesome time. Had some seriously ace support, and more importantly, I didn't come last - 69/86, when they had a field full of ex-downhill racers in my category (seniors - 20-30).

The practice session went well on saturday, but it started chucking it down on saturday night, so when we were out first thing sunday to recce the track, it was sketchy as!

#Enduro Hashtag Enduro!!!

It didn't take long before somebody DID actually shout out hashtag enduro! For my first ever race, I had a mega buzz and the adrenaline was still pumping until lunchtime today, when I just fatigued hard when I was at work!

I can't wait for my next race! But what a way to come back to fitness though!
