I hope someone can help me. I have just changed the fuel tank and on the RHS there is a rubber "funnel" with a piece of rubber hose attached. What is this for and where does the pipe go?

Thanks to all. Confused

Could be a drain hose. If so, there should be a bit on the base of the tank that the funnel part fits on to.

Looks like it's a 'gutter' type thing for water.

Right above the spark plug. I expect it stops the plug well filling up with rain water in heavy weather.

Sorry to revive this old thread... but I could do with some help.

I adjusted my YBR's chain and gave it a little wash today, and I noticed the water drain funnel's hose hanging down - I must have dislodged it somehow whilst cleaning the bike.

My Haynes manual helpfully says "note the routing of the drain hose", but doesn't give me a photo.

I tucked it in alongside the brake cables for now, but it looks wrong - I'm worried it'll fall out while I'm riding and catch in some moving part somewhere.

Would a YBR owner be kind enough to take a photo for me that shows the right way to route that drain hose, please?

Many thanks!
