https://www.mag-uk.org/network/Network_2015-05.pdf

"MAG" now appears to be composed of:

The Motorcycle Action Group Ltd
MAG Media Ltd gets about £69,000 a year, mostly on printing and paying Ian Mutch to rant about helmets.
The MAG Foundation Ltd (no activity)
Nice Employer Ltd employs the staff and costs about £185,000 a year

How many people does MAG represent? Depending who you ask, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions?

How many members does MAG have?

2010 = 7326
2011 =7417
2012 =7432
2013 =7181
Shit went down.
2014 =5986
2015 = fewer again

Directors

Pat van Aalst - Appointed AGM 2014 / Ceased communicating with the NC and FEMA Committee so deemed to have resigned with effect from December 2014

This is an organisation which employs Lembit Öpik to be its sensible, credible representative.

Oh, MAG, never stop being you. Laughing

Before you start slagging some people involved in this off... take a look at some of the files on https://maguk.info/ - not impressive reading but one of todays targets comes out of it in a better light particulary as he was clearly hounded out of his role.

MAG still going?
last year I stopped paying when I realised
I just couldn't give a fuck about MAG anymore.
To me it was 'give us money and we'll preach our shite to you
tell you how fucking wondeful we all are and send a boring bike mag
that after a while you'll bin without even bothering to upwrap,
let alone have a desultory flip through the pages."
As for the supposed heros and villians, fuck em, not interested.

Let it die, perhaps its rotting carcass will allow the shoots of a new fresh organisation to emerge from all the shite.

( That no doubt in time will grow into another bloated monster we'll have to kill. It's the way of things)
