 |
|
I have just read somerset scratchers post (made a while ago i think) about him being pissed off about being on a scooter, well i have come to the conclusion that on a 125 with l plates, the plates could be used as a wind up, i would let people try to overtake me going 30 then rip the throttle back and beat them, then making them realise you are not stuck at 30 and can actually go 80/85/90 and 0-60 quicker than them ( speaking 'them' as most cars).
Does anyone else ever use the fact that they have 'L' plates to their advantage when trying to wind up car drivers who are up their arse? ____________________ 94 fzr600r |

I get the odd boy racer idiot in his nova/scooby/chavmobile with no badges on at all (cos badges are just so un cool nowadays aren't they!!! - heaven forbid that their car was made by a MANUFACTURER !! ). The L plates on the bike seem to convince them that the NSR can't possibly do 90+ . ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/nsrandy/96rs250/ My Bike!

When I had the L's on my NSR and was having a bit of a tear, I would often get looks from pedestrians, scooters and other bikes. I think a de-restricted 125's performance surprises most people. It's definitely worth 'demonstrating' the performance of your bike to see peoples reactions for a laugh! |

Who cares I wouldn't want to encourage people to drive like a tosser anywhere near me if I were riding a bike. |

Does anybody know if it's legal to ride around with L plates on a full licence? A few nifty ideas spring to mind ____________________ 3516 Miles, 11 Countries |

I have often wondered how many weird looks you would receive tearing around on a Gixxer, R1, zx9r and the likes, with L plates on. And how many chavs would even be stupid enough to try. ____________________ 94 fzr600r |

I don't have a clue.
Probably because the government has a place for everyone and wants everyone in their place. ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/nsrandy/96rs250/ My Bike!
