Helmet Advice

Currently I have a couple of 2nd hand helmets bought from mates but I'm looking to buy something new now.

I have a Momo Fighter open face for summery weather and a Syko flip front for when it's not so good.

Have been looking at Caberg helmets. Anyone have experience of these? Either the Riviera open face or Duke Legend flip front.

I wear glasses so would rather have a flip front than trying to squeeze my glasses back in to a full face lid.

I had the Caberg Konda (old verison of the Duke) which wasn't bad. I found it comfier than my AGV and it wasn't too loud either - It was however a lot heavier than the AGV (both were flip-ups).

As for glasses, I can't really remember how easy it was to fit my glasses with the lid on. I had the helmet for nearly 2 years so it can't of been that bad. I currently have a HJC IS-MAX-2 which is a pretty nice lid for sub £150. It also comes with a glasses groove which is handy! Thumbs Up

I have an airoh 106 I imported from Germany.

It's got a removable chin-bar and is approved as both an open and full face helmet. Not available in the UK though so you'd be taking a guess on size.

Incidentally also one of the lowest profile lids I've come across recently. As a mate commented at the weekend "That looks like it's painted on".

Your best bet is to find the shop with the biggest selection and go try them on. Different helmets fit better on different shaped heads.
