ARARARARARR Cant for the life of me slow down Evil or Very Mad really annoying the f**k out of me.

Standing 2 feet forward i can easy do 2nd gear -> 3rd gear wheelying, but i just cant stop accelrating Crying or Very sad

Only way i can get past the bp is up hill (or right high revs in 2nd) Question and then i every so often slow down the wheelie and its class Thumbs Up

Even trying to coast, but because my clutch is W**k it doesn't disengage fully, and i came down HARD!!

Any idea, 1st gear revs too fast very choppy with engin braking, 2nd gear clutch wont pull me up past bp till towards the end of the gear for some reson.

(ps not a person who gives up, please help before i loop lol)

probly would help if i wernt on the slight nackerd klr with iffy power Shocked Very Happy

Wont sitting down help the balance point a bit more becasue you can lean back?
As standing up dont you have more weight over the front of the wheel?

Gah, better than me, bastard.

I still have only a very few times properly got it to the balance point Sad. Never got it past and kept it there with the brake. Have had some moments where I've got it down with the power and two where I haven't.

If you find the magic soloution, please feel free to share Smile.

Have tried to ask similar questions on stunt life, but didn't get many answers of interest.

Haven't had a bike I can wheelie for ages as well Sad.

i just kept getting SLIGHTLY harder and harder on the throttle until I reached the feeling of falling backwards, from then on I practised feathering the rear brake until not having to use the rear at all. It has become a case of throttle on raise the front , throttle off lower the front, hold it steady for long wheelies. i also find stand up wheelies more secure, dont know why???

Theres a great huge!!! hill on the way back from teh track nad last week i managed to knock of 10 mph, on the way up it, but perhaps that was becuase i was going up hill?

You been drinking? Razz
I have a problem with wheelies too. The problem is that I bottle it as son as the front comes up more than a few inches. I just can't seem to stop knocking the throttle off, no matter how hard I try Sad

Just keep trying, but not /too/ much... you sort of gradually get over it and start wheelying a bit longer.. and obviously improve from there on... just keep trying and when you do get the wheel up and start letting off the throttle just blip it a bit again to keep the front up a bit longer until you get used to it.

I'm /just/ getting used to the wheel coming up with clutch or power, and trying to hold the wheel up mostly on the power at the moment, managed to keep the wheel up from 30mph to 65 the other day Very Happy

just keep practicing...

makes sense to me but that doesn't prove anything Razz

As for your problem, its just a confidence thing Thumbs Up i would say if you know some one who kicks ass at wheelies and went on the back you might get more of a feeling of how high a wheelie can go perhaps that would help, or grab the nearest dirt bike Wink

if your just power wheelying its very smooth when it comes up, just grit your teeth Twisted Evil

I think rear brake truely should be saved for a rear emergency! touching that rear brake when poping a wheelie will have it crunch back down again.

I think realisitcally for control it has to be done with leaning.
Get it up leaning right back, lean forwards to stop it coming up, and use your own balance to keep it up rather than the throttle.
i think if in doubt, go for the higher gear, back the throttle off till your no longer having to acclorate harshly to keep it up, leaning back to keep it up.
