Christ, I live next to the archetypal dumb blond of dumb blonds who shouldn't be allowed to decide anything without a minder, let alone vote (big tits though). Anyone with a criminal record should be banned from voting as well as they have shown a disregard for society.

Eugenics, anyone?

And it will happen. Of course it will. It will start with eliminating whatever causes certain hereditary diseases and everyone will laud it. Then it will be the erasing of things like down syndrome and from there a short hop to the elimination of the mentally subnormal and control of the gene pool. People who are the carriers of genetic disfomities? Remove them from the gene pool. We have 8 billion humans in the world, why would we allow sub standard ones to drag the race down?

I couldn't even begin to guess a timeline but it will happen, and it should happen but n the meantime lets just control who gets the vote.

That's a bit overly simplistic. It's very easy to say someone's too thick to chime in on weighty topics like "shall we send troops to Ukraine?" (vast number of implications, complications, etc.) Peoples' interest may be narrow but they shouldn't be discounted.

For example, the objectionable Northerner on YouTube started a GoFundMe to buy one of Del Boy's project bikes. Loads of people chipped in (to the tune of over five grand) just for a larf. Unfortunately the auction listing got pulled so what now with the money? "Have a vote on it!" Great but who get's to vote? Not the people in the live chat who never chipped in of course. Then what about the guy who chipped in £400, doesn't he get a bigger say in where the money goes than someone who donated £4?! And so on. Wow... so that all went sideways very quickly Sad

For a truly fair and representative democracy we'd need people

a) invested in the system they're voting in
b) given power proportional to their investment and
c) someone to head it all up i.e. politicians to actually represent these interests (and not their own or their mate's)

We aren't even close on any of those points! Even so what is the above but the corporate structure of most companies. And how do companies generally treat their subjects/employees? (Looking at you, Amazon.)

So it goes back to Churchill: it's terrible but it's the least terrible compared to everything else that's been tried (so far.)

The problem with eugenics is that it doesn't work out like that in practice.
Currently we have the gene pool being meddled with by the state using the welfare system, illegal immigration and so forth.

As for criminal records and voting.Someone almost got a criminal record for calling a police horse gay.

Let's start with something simple, true or false: the 20th Century tested both Left and Right political systems to the extreme.

Can we agree on that?

And both extremes end up being fascism. How about we have a go at just democracy and the rather dull compromise of social-capitalism?

Fair shout as long as the judicial system is under their control which isn't the case here.

What's wrong with saying anyone serving a custodial sentence can't vote?

I think the central delusion is "we're so socially advanced, so progressive, we learned soooo much in the post-war period [Swinging '60s] and that's why the World is getting better. Don't stop now! Keep going towards Utopia" Rolling Eyes

While the reality is technological progress is what has catapulted us forward despite the social damage we've endured over the last 50 years or so.

I wonder whether the 168 students from Huddersfield Pretend University will still be cheerleaders for illegal immigrants now that they've effectively been evicted in order to house some of the fuckers!

Shouldn't laugh, but...

Even my mum mentioned that story in passing yesterday.

This seems to be what the voters want given half a century of Left-Wing parties running the country (into the ground.)

I wonder whether Prestige Student Living were taking money from students without having a firm contract with the landlord (with two weeks to go!), or whether they’ve been screwed by them or the Home Office. Either way it sounds dodgy.

I quite like Braverman's idea that batting for the other side or being female will be excluded from the asylum acceptance criteria.

I agree but it's a total cockfest anyway.

Overall, males represented 87% of small boat arrivals in 2022. This proportion is similar to the proportion of males each year from 2018 to 2021.

77% Male for general asylum: https://asylumineurope.org/reports/country/united-kingdom/statistics/

The gay thing is NGOs briefing them, like Mohammed saying he's Christian.

So when he told people to go to the Capitol and fight for him at a rally just down the road from it on 6th Jan wasn't an attempt at insurrection?

Why are you batting for the Democrats? How are you invested in their success?!

All elections are rigged in one way or another otherwise the MSM wouldn't exist.

You forgot about the instigators. The only person killed was a Republican. January 6th is a total farce.
You forget about the Democrats little rants about hounding out any Republican from restaurants, cafes, homes. Lefties always use the FIGHT people mantra. Very narrow view. But what would we expect?

No 'Plan B'

My Plan A was (and still is) MTBs and Type 45 Destroyers.

It's a plan that ticks too many social/political boxes to be ignored.

1) It gives our British Navy sailors and marines quality training in 'Real life' situations.
(Similar to RAF Air Sea Rescue. Its not a great fiscal hardship to use expensive system to search for and rescue whankers. As its seen as priceless practice for operating in time of conflict.)

2) Our wonderful navy vessels would not simply be tied to a quayside or steaming up and down costal waters collecting seagull shite.

3) The British tax payers see their Taxes put to good use.

4) The 'Boat People' will save a lot of money and be spared much suffering, as use of live ammo will work 100% to curb and ultimately discourage their seaborne adventure across the English Channel. (*)

5) We avoid the diplomatic quagmire involved in sending Illegals to a foreign country (at the tax payer's expense.)

* Disband the RNLA while we're at it. Those silly fukers have been 'enablers' by picking up survivors from burst dinghies.
They lifeboats should be fitted with guns (30mm canons) and crews re-trained on what's what. UK government will pay for the fuel if receipts are submitted after any successful engagement.
