So they're allowed an exception to British law because of their belief system? "No exceptions" unless they're a bit foreign looking?
Ever seen a pikey pay tax? Surely there's a law against that too?
FGM is illegal, but with over 200,000 reported cases in the UK, we've had 1 successful prosecution in 30 years.
Nobody should be above the law, but far too often, minorities are in this country. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

You'll have to figure out for yourself how far you want to take it. I see no harm in Sikhs being allowed their particular exemption, except perhaps to themselves in the event of an accident.
Do you understand why people get fed up with replying to you? It just never ends What are you trying to achieve with me? Calm down. I'm just pointing out how flawed this comment was. If you keep trying to justify it, I'll keep showing why it's wrong.

It IS fundamentally part of British law that helmet use regulations do not apply to Sikhs wearing turbans. This was agreed by multiple passes through duly elected parliament, the house of lords and gained royal ascent.
The other examples you cited (tax evasion, FGM,) are fundamentally illegal and their persistence reflects a problem with enforcement.
Specifically the Road Traffic Act 1988, section 16, paragraph 2 if you're interested.
Quote: |
A requirement imposed by regulations under this section shall not apply to any follower of the Sikh religion while he is wearing a turban. |

Is that not an exemption then?
Looks like a perfect example of the definition of exemption to me.

Muppet, nothing stopping you from wearing a turban/towel on your head instead, in fact there's quite a well known chap around here who does just that, and, no he's not a sikh, a little eccentric perhaps. ____________________ Beware what photos you upload, or link to on here, especially if you have family members on them |

So I was bang on the money, it was a visa scam. I thank you.

To get the innovators visa you need to invest £50,000 in a new business which is a new idea i.e innovative. You then pay an additional £1k or so for yourself and a further £1k or so for each member of your family.
You then can't claim public funds for 3 years and have to prove you can support yourself for the 3 years.
Lots of other rules and regs, not at all straight forward like you suggest.
Do you ever tell the whole truth? |

So when 59 illegal immigrants are caught trying to enter the U.K., the Home Office of course puts them in a secure unit until their asylum claim is processed. I mean, for safety, as we don’t know if they’re Terrorists do we?
Nah, they just book them into a 3 star hotel overlooking Folkestone Harbour, with no security what so ever, allowing them to roam free. I wonder if any disappeared during the night?
Not the first time either.
https://www.kentonline.co.uk/folkestone/news/59-asylum-seekers-put-up-at-hotel-212509/
Great. Just heard reports that the police helicopter hovering over and armed police everywhere are counter terrorist police raiding the flats around the corner from me. What odds they’re some of the recent “Iranian”’ asylum seekers?
Will link to the story in the morning. Going by local residents forums of people watching it in action from their windows so far.
Edit - Not a sniff of the anti terrorist raids around where I live last night. The press are silent over it, but social media is full of it. Around 30 officers wearing CTSFO uniforms raided the flats around the corner, 2 men arrested. A property belonging to the owner of the local Indian restaurant was raided and 3 other properties. There was a bomb squad lorry parked up down the road by the rugby club. It was hard to miss it going on as 2 helicopters were hovering very loudly over the area for at least an hour.
According to residents in the flats, the story given to them by the counter terrorist officers was, move along, nothing to see here, nothing was found and no mention of it even happening in the press. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

All the good ones drown apparently.
https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/woman-drowned-in-channel-trying-to-save-baby-and-fellow-migrants/ar-AAItjDB?ocid=ientp
"....An Iranian woman who drowned during an ill-fated journey across the Channel was a "very brave girl" who died trying to save her fellow passengers, a survivor from the boat has told....We watched Mitra with her arm outstretched screaming for help for 15 minutes."
While everyone else sat in the boat. Watching. For 15 minutes.
I'm so glad the rest of them made it across.
Having read the article it doesn't seem like she was intentionally doing anything altruistic and was just trying to get to a rescue rope on her own. |

So much virtue signalling bullshit in that story I don't know where to start.
Firstly, she dived into the see to try to reach a rope from another boat because her boat was sinking, along with the other 17 illegals. How is a rat jumping off a sinking ship heroic?
Secondly, if she really was this modern day professional with a PhD, what was stopping her getting a cheap flight to Gatwick along with the other thousands of Iranians who arrive each day?
Thirdly, if she really was just fleeing a "dangerous political situation" in Iran, France is not in Iran, nor are the countless other countries she crossed to try to enter the UK illegally.
My guess is along with all these other sudden rushes of "Iranian" illegal immigrants turning up on the Kent coast, she was living in the UK before going out with thousands of others, to live in the Caliphate. Now this is facing annihilation they all want to return. Unfortunately, it's not quite that easy anymore as border exit checks being in place since 2015/16, mean that our border forces know they've been out of the country for over 3 years and are likely to be a returning Jihadis.
Where not talking about the odd one claiming to be from Iran. It's over 95% of the hundreds turning up each month. All arriving with no ID, all Muslims and ALL claiming to be "Iranian".
Come on, really? Do we really believe this is just a political problem in Iran? Yeah right. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

So Erdogan has spunked the 6BN Euro bribe the EU threw at them to not flood Europe with Muslim illegal immigrants and is now blackmailing them not to criticise their ethnic cleansing, as they have invaded Syria to kill Kurds.
https://www.channelstv.com/2019/10/10/syria-erdogan-threatens-to-flood-europe-with-refugees/?fbclid=IwAR2vt9crrm74WgxlVCVoWN_s9i6VdtWlV-w12auJBRqXqsBksDYetAcjkJM
Such as lovely chap. It's comforting to know the EU is still handing vast sums of money over to Turkey and assisting it to steal manufacturing away from Europe, using our money to fund it.
Another reason to leave the EU. It's completely willing to ignore himan rights breeches in order to expand it's empire to the East.
First the EU built Turkey an 800 mile wall to trap the Kurds in Syria, hoping ISIS would obliterate them. When that's not worked, they're invading Kurdish areas in Syria themselves to "remove terrorists", whilst the world just stands and watches. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.
