I'll probably be further up the road, trackside at dears leap.
Sounds good Thumbs Up.

I don't suppose you have any a rough idea of the race times; is it pretty much ongoing all through the day? Haven't been able to find much information about times anywhere.

Not too sure when we'll be arriving and have to leave yet so we're hoping we will get to see a reasonable amount of it.

Finally got my ferry booked. Very Happy

Going to have to be up early to ride down and catch it though.

If anyone else from up north is going and fancies riding down together, PM me. Thumbs Up

Do you want to meet us at Holyhead Travel lodge a little bit earlier and ride to the ferry together or shall we meet you on board?

I'll check where the travelodge is first but, may meet you there.

I've just been trying to check but google won't let me at the moment. I keep getting a message that Google thinks I'm a robot and won't let me play. Eh?

I'll try again later and let you know. Thumbs Up

Had forgotten where it actually was myself too; just had a look again - might as well meet us and all go on together by the looks of it Laughing.

You will need to leave 5 minutes earlier though Shocked.

Thanks for the map. Google still has me blocked. Confused

What time's best for meeting up do you reckon?

Need to check in at least 45 minutes before departure (8.10 final check-in). So perhaps aim to meet us at 7.30 to allow some time for any delays? We'll be up by 7.00 if you do want to arrive earlier Thumbs Up.

I'll aim to get there around 7 ish, just to give me time for any delays I might encounter, so should make it for half past at the latest.

Hopefully I'll have my bike fixed by then. Laughing

Enjoy the trip people. It seems like a great idea. I would love to go with you, but I'll be in Switzerland until just before the BBQ, potentially the stay in Switzerland to be extended (which is a bit a question mark for my BBQ attendance).

I've never been to Ireland. I'd like to go.

Cheers mJZ. Thumbs Up

I've not been to Ireland myself before. I always meant to go one day when I lived in the Isle of Man, as you can see Ireland from the west coast on a good day but, in 14 years of living there I never got around to it. Laughing

I'd quite like to go to Switzerland too but, I'll have to put that off for a year or two, when I've finally got me a bigger bike.

Thanks Smile.

I'm sure i'll do one of my usual excessively-long picture threads when we get back, so you can see if its looks like its worth a visit still Razz.

Have a good'un in Switz' anyway Thumbs Up.

Dance!

Just been servicing the bike in preparation for the trip. Going to leave the oil change until a day or two before though.

Let's hope summer arrives by the time we go. Don't fancy wearing waterproofs at this time of year.

Or spread across the motorway. Razz

I'm just heading back home with a few last minute bits (mainly food for the ride down to Wales and over to Dublin).

Took the bike out for a little blast yesterday and all appears okay. Filled up the tank, so it's all ready for the off at 04:30, to make sure I get to Holyhead in time.

Just hope it stays dry Praying but, I'll be bringing waterproofs just in case.

I'm getting quite excited now. Smile

Was going well until about an hour ago when my bike deaded. Pissing down with rain, soaked through and some guy with a lawnmower shop whos into bikes is having a look at it as I type this.

Hope I can get home. Neutral
