Hello,

Has anyone tried Bridgestone Battleaxe S20 Evo Tyres? I'm almost ready to order for 5eb R6.

Noticed my R6 currently has fitted 120/70 front and 190 width rear tyre. The manual states 120/60 front and 180 rear tyres for my bike. I did some research and am going to keep the 120/70 size as itt's apparently better (more feel through the turn) but drop back to to 180 for the rear with the new tyre. Can't see any good reason to have a 190 rear, can anyone?

Tried S20's & diddn't rate them for the cost. Pilot Powers were better.

Thanks Iain. Ended up going for Pirelli Rossa Corsa. Did read a few folks saying they weren't to keen on the S20 Evo.

Probably any decent tyre would more than good enough for what I'll be doing on the road. Have Knockhill Motorrad trackday (2 days) at the end of the month so wanted something that would be ok for novice. Have no WOW's so if it rains these will do as well, all be it slowly Smile

New chain, sprockets, brake lines and pads and service. Had bike mechanic, do full nut and bolt check and ready to go..........am now cacking myself. Embarassed
