Just wondering could I put thinker tyres on my Honda Cb125f (2015)
Standard tyre sizes- Front: 80/100/18 Rear: 90/90/18

You probably could put slightly bigger tyres on it, as you can with a lot of bikes but, I really can't see the point tbh.

For what reason do you want to do this?

I too was looking for tyres because the Conti-go's are quite slippery when the road surface is wet. I did some Googling and on another forum someone got away with 100/80 17F - 120/80 17R

Instead of getting new tyres I decided that I'd just MTFU in wet weather and ride more carefully. The money that would have been spent on them will go towards my A2 test Smile

I thought I read somewhere that I could. And I think it would be a good idea just to save for my A2 test.

If the tyres are a bit dodgy like the stock tyres that came with my bike, then by all means change them for better ones.

Otherwise, you may as well save your money for something else, like your test as you say. Thumbs Up

To be honest I guess they're not that bad as I'm a bit biased due to experiences I've had in wet weather: Almost lost the rear wheel on a drain cover (my fault, a better tyre wouldn't have prevented this), almost lost the rear wheel doing a tight right turn (again, my fault, I was "racing" a random guy on a two stroke Aprilia and I gave it way too much throttle.

I've ridden a fair amount of times in odd showers that have caught me out and they've been just fine.

TL;DR - Stock tyres aren't that dodgy, bring on the A2 licence and an SV650!

Edit: Just realised you were talking about the CB125F as opposed to the CBF125. Oh well, very similar bikes, I'll still say the same things about the tyres Smile
