So me and a few of my mates decided to ride our bikes up a rocky path/hill and they both made it up fine as they had 100cc bikes whereas my 50cc didnt. My bikes engine just decided to cut out and then had no power. The engine was very hot so I have it 30 minutes then fired it back up again, started fine with no problems but when throttle is 1/4 turnt just doesn't engage. I walked it home and washed the water coolant through and put new stuff in. Now I start the bike same situation, but I open the throttle all the way the wheel spins fast.then after about a minute the engine BOGS and the engine cuts out. I checked the spark plug and filter and are fine. My friend said that it may be the fuel flooding the engine but it doesn't seem like that ! I tried to ride it and the engine works but cuts out ... PLEASE GIVE ALL HELP

Take the exhaust off and have a look up the port on the condition of the piston. You can move the piston via the kickstart, move it slowly down to move it. Shine a torch up the exhaust port. Thumbs Up

Sounds like it overheated and done its topend in, you'll know instantly looking up the port.

Also, you haven't ridden it low / out of oil recently have you?

When taking the exhaust off in looking into the thing which it connects to yes? What will I be looking for when I look inside ? Of its broken would you know roughly how much and how fast it would be to repair ?

UPDATE: took ped all apart, cleaned the carb, improved ! Managed to drive it down my road then got hot (not in red) then began to bog.couldn't hit 25. Went to shop to buy new spark plug, this did help as ped began to hit over 35 then became hot and lost power beginning to bog ? Someone said it could be not providing enough fuel or oil, so I'm guessing the timing is out? How can I solve this
