Ok I had an issue with the rear head on a Varadero 125. I had a spare head but it was from an earlier carburetter model. It worked and all seemed well, initially. However after only 500 miles the off side bearing on the camshaft failed. The shaft is now knackered. It was a new camshaft.

Question is, is there a possibility of the two heads having different oil feeds or could I just have a blocked one or am I just unlucky. Any ideas guys, is this a common fault?

Not an uncommon fault on the Vara125 - check oil passages on both heads if possible.

Normally, you have to buy a camshaft to get the bearings, as Honda don't supply them separately, but if the camshaft is good, try www.simplybearings.co.uk

Bearing Code 6003CS
Inside measurement - 17mm
Outside measurement - 35mm
Width - 10mm

Unfortunately the shaft is shot 😞. It Only did 500 miles. New one ordered. Otherwise yes my local bike engineer can supply and fit to shaft for £10. Bummer!
