I decided to do one of those '5 minute' jobs this morning; replacing the 'jubilee type clip thing' that secures the exhaust down pipe into the back section of the exhaust as the clip had broken.

So I opened up the clip tried to pull it off didn't move, had a look underneath, to find for some reason the clip had been welded to the pipe. So out with my weapon of choice; the hacksaw, 30 minutes sawing and 2 blades later and the clip was defeated, then a bit of filing to level off the weld and the new one could be fitted.

So now could be the time for a test ride!

Replaced my brake fluid in my front brake this morning and cleaned my calipers and cleaned the edges up on my pads... oh boy what difference Wink

Much firmer feel and it stops very quick
