Not in a position to head out today Sad but let me know about anything you organise in future, assuming you can cope with a learner on a cg Rolling Eyes if not, no worries!
I'm in Bishop's Cleeve by the way ....

Cheers,

Rich

Jon,

I'd be a definite maybe sometime in the future however I've signed up for the Bikesafe Course run by Gloucestershire Police https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=28949&highlight=&sid=87d0485d2d53869d0c5856d10dc3360e , it's run on consecutive Sundays and the 15th is the initial introduction.

I actually spoke to the bloke who runs it recently (Martyn Hillier) and he mentioned that there were still a couple of places available should you be interested - The contact details can be found in the link.

Cheers

SteveH

Hey I'll come Jon! Where were you planning on starting it from, and where do u think we'd all be heading?

I reckon a tear around your field would be in order to hehe. Anyone with an off-road bike should come and have a go. Hehe, not that i'm trying to get BCFers to raid your house or anything Razz

yeah why not Wink

meet at my house then go across to wales, have lunch and a luagh and admire the scenery (and the sheep!) then doodle back home..

i think its a perfect combination, that way we will get to know each other in person other than names Smile

lol, never fear flan. I'm on a Tw125, and yet I still go riding with Jon. As long as you can go up to speed limits (which you can) you'll be fine. If the big bikes get too far ahead, they'll slow down and allow a bit of catch up time. It'll be nice to have another 125 there, but I always hate being behind a 2 stroke. Feels like i'm being gassed Smile hehe.

Where abouts in Cheltenham are you guys from? I'm in between Chelt and Glos in a village called Churchdown. Clearly though, I class myself as living in Cheltenham and not Gloucester Laughing

Did any of you guys go out on Sunday?

It was raining fairly steadily so I didn't bother riding out at all.

I live in Up Hatherley, but I work in Stoud and use the bike to get to and from work.

I sometimes follow or am followed by a bloke on an R1 who seems to come from the direction of Churchdown, askew know any one?

no idea Pikey, I also see a black and red R1 all the time. I go through Up Hatherley almost daily. Safeways there Is where I usually fill up with petrol before I go for a ride. I'm always seeing someone on a NSR going in to the petrol station bit. He nver nods though Sad Only kidding mate hehe.
