I did CBT with Riders and passed theory. I am over 24 and trying to decide on a training school in / near Birmingham to do mod 1 training (then book mod 2 once mod 1 is passed).
Has anyone done training for mod 1 and mod 2 with Goldies, RMT or Riders ?

Any opinions / reviews appreciated. Thanks Thumbs Up

Mate did his CBT, mod 1 & Mod 2 with training and bike hire for £560 with Goldie's and he was very very good apperently. Bikes used also have ABS, so no locking up on the emergency stop either.

I did mine with Riders. Personally I was pleased with them but, there seems to be some people who have had bad experiences.

Thanks. That's a good price from Goldies, they quoted me £250 for each mod plus £70 for half day assessment. They do seem good, I heard Goldie used to work for RMT who also seem good but quoted me £140 more than Goldie's quote.
Riders were good on my CBT at Yardley Wood but they don't use DSA test pad for training as far as I'm aware.

If you don't mind me asking, did you and your mate pass first time ?
Was your test at Garretts Green, what were examiners like ?
Where did you do your DAS with Riders ?

I did my training in Yardley with Aaron (nice guy), Mod 1 training was in the same place as where you would of done your CBT.

They do training on the Mod 1 test grounds, but it's luck of the draw apparently. They told me that it's get freed up with little notice, so they can't always get on there. But if there's the opportunity they will take u there to be trained. Whether that's BS or not, I'm not sure as I never recieved training on the Mod 1 test grounds.

My mate passed first time round Mod 1 & 2 with Goldie's.

I failed my first mod 1 for locking up on the emergency brake (I was told not to use the back brake... And still did, so my fault tbf).
Saying that two other friends passed first time with Riders.
