I'm doing a weeks trip again for a few places, visiting a few people. Now I'm going to the Yorkshire train museum it's something I've always wanted to do. Now I'm considering staying the night to have a ride around Yorkshire.
So wondering of any good camping spots or nice rides in the area ____________________ CB125>CG125>GN125>ER5>K100RS>R1100RS>K100RS

Not bad bit steep at £48 a night I'll be staying 2 nights most probably. But I guess that's the price to pay if you are staying in Yorkshire in July. ____________________ CB125>CG125>GN125>ER5>K100RS>R1100RS>K100RS

Yes yes I know it`s not a camp site.
However if it`s peeing down with rain and miserable, I can recommend this.
https://www.suninnpooleybridge.co.uk/
I use it as a base for nearly all my incursions oop north!
It`s not the cheapest, but it is clean and warm and the food is pretty good.
It`s in just the right place for a bike oriented stay as you have both the Lake district and North Yorkshire within easy riding distance
They`ve always treated me ok. ____________________ I am the sum total of my own existence, what went before makes me who I am now! |

Interesting I'll give that one some thought still haven't worked out the route around the area, don't really want to go out and explore, when I do that on my normal trip I'm normally doing 250 miles+. Knowing me I'd end up too far from the place I'm staying and travel further just to get a safe place to get some kip. I know so far I'm going to do buttertub pass, that looks awesome if a bit similar to the black mountain road that I normally do.
Think I might also do squires whilst in the local vicinity as I might do Ace Cafe on the way back down nearer the end of the week. I'm trying to knock some of the "best places for bikes" off my list.

Ouch! That is a bit steep :/
There are plenty more around this area (if we had a spare room then you'd be welcome to it but the daughter has now returned from Uni and taken up all available space!).
We have used this site quite a few times for finding sites : https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/results.asp?county=North%20Yorkshire |
Thanks for the offer, maybe next time we could meet up. Hmm interesting I've been looking at that list already there were a few nice places to stay. But as I say it gives me some thought on the actual route I want to do in the area. ____________________ CB125>CG125>GN125>ER5>K100RS>R1100RS>K100RS
