If he wants a ped, let him get one. Cheap, realiable, good round town etc. Most will do about 45mph de-restricted, maybe a little more (or a lot more if it has a knackered speedo!). However legally you shouldn't be de-restricted at 16 though. Just look in auto trader or your local paper. don't buy new as you are quite likely to drop it if its your first bike!

i have a suzuki street magic tr50 for sale - will do 40 on flat 50 downhill.

really good condition, 11 thou miles, r reg recent respray in matt black, looks hard as fuck.

its a good ride - better than a scooter due to the riding position.

£450 ono

will come with a full armoured buffalo jacket if required

Hi, I'm selling my Gilera Runner Purejet. It's very quick due to fuel injected motor, the speedo goes up to 65 and the needle has rattled off the bottom (That was down the HUGE hill near chesterfield if anybody knows it). It does 100mpg as well, again thanks to the lack of carb. It's an 03 reg in red race replica colours. It does however need a new exhaust, so i will be getting that replaced before i sell it.
