Changed oil last night, probably early as the oil that came out was in pretty good condition. Looks like my use of engine flush last time cleared a lot of gunk out and the oil is staying cleaner longer.

However I found this https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/0i6BAIxkC4mWJsWJ_0oR2gEtr1Nx6pMfK5k_fF6WESo=w912-h512-no which i think is a chip of plastic. Photos suggest that plastic parts in the engine are white or black. I think it might be the same type of plastic as used in grey oil bottles. Would have been from a Rock Oil bottle over 2 years ago if it was mine. Have been feeding bike motul, which comes in a black bottle.

Bike appears to be running fine. Should I worry?

Doesn't look like whatever was in your oil came off of this... certainly not judging by the shape. Could be wrong...

I don't think it's cam chain guides, they are black, this is a very light grey, slightly translucent. I thought it was a chip of metal at first and was very worried, but closer inspection revealed it to be plastic.

I wonder whether it might be a bit of wargaming miniatures sprue. The whole house is filled with little plastic men figures and vehicles as my housemate paints them as some kind of business, oil change kit is in a corner of the living room at the moment and got unwrapped when his new cat decided to shit on everything.
