Mileage is a bit high but that's ok, just wondering what you guys think about the slight corrosion on the front forks and engine case etc?

Cheers.

The bike (not exactly minor blemishes), the advertisement wording (caveats rule), the limitations on warranty (what justification for a limitation on warranty - cosmetics ?).

I'm even put off the dealer for selling bikes in this way.

Be as well buying at a meet at a local carpark following a gumtree ad.

Per-se, the mileage would not bother me.

Sorry to spoil, it's just the gut feeling I get on this one

I'd risk it for less than a grand.

Bollocks to the wee bits of crust
What's bugging me is you see an MOT symbol in one pic
which suggests they do MOTs on the premises
yet they are flogging it without one.

"It meets all the requirements of an MOT test but may not be reliable without further work"

WTF? how hard is it to get a bike MOT unless its got a serious problem?

It is MOT'ed, it says in the second sentence:

"This bike has covered 22685 miles. It is currently MOT'ed until 16th of May 2016"

" It meets all the requirements of an MOT test but may not be reliable without further work", see translation below.

Hence no 'comprehensive warranty' (that won't be comprehensive anyway).

translation: the bike is safe to take on the road at this point in time, the bike is unreliable because we know that there are inherent serious problems waiting to manifest themselves in the very near future.

Glad you posted OP, Thunder Road Motorcycles now on my 'avoid like herpes' list.

It is, but if the MOT is from the dealer, I'd disregard it as any indicator of the scooter's condition. The fact that they're refusing test rides isn't reassuring either.

I'd want to examine it carefully before bidding, and I wouldn't go crazy on it.

Do not like PCX model at all.

IMO SH125 is way better bike. Better seat. Better visibility. Better power. Better handling. Flat floor.

And you can have it for the same price. I really wonder why anybody would buy PCX at all?
