Saw a classy 'incident' this morning.

Trundling along the A40 (3 laner) this morning and a blue van comes off the slip and weaves it's way across and into the outside lane, closely followed by a golf. Next thing the van is sitting on the white line between lanes 2 and 3 then dives back and half up onto the grass verge on lane 1. Golf weaves about a bit then does the same, almost ramming the van up the arse when he gets to the verge. Then he swings across right in front of me (I give him a long beep and the finger while avoiding him) and settles back in the outside lane.

Traffic slows down for the congestion ahead and as I draw up alongside he rolls his window up, obviously expecting a barrage of abuse from the bird in the dented VW Laughing . But what he hasn't noticed is the van is now in the outside lane about 6 cars back and ooooh look, his lane is stopping. And so's the one next to it. No escape as a very irate van man is stalking down the central reservation towards him. Last thing I saw van man was 'in his face' and Golf boy's two mates were getting out the car to 'assist'.

Anyone know how it ended? Very Happy

Nice one Bendy! Wink

I see this all the time around where I live, something about surrey and posh people in posh cars and white van men don't mix very well.

Hope someone knows how this one ends, or at least can make up a decent ending!

I got really savagely cut up by one when i was on the 50cc, gave it the double handed double fingered salute a bit, they dropped back to give some back, then tried to knock me off a few times, two twats in an unmarked white transit. Bless em. Had to outrace them (yes on a 50) through very sparse traffic.

Lets hope the two in the golf clobbered the white van man when he tried to kick in the bumper or some such thing.

why is everyone assuming it's the van driver's fault? If the Golf was driven by a young guy, with 2 of his mates in the back who were happy to get out and 'assist', could it not equally be their fault?

Just wondering Wink

I was wondering that too. They were both driving like complete pricks, but it was van man who decided to get out and shout. Doesn't really prove anything about who's fault it was.

Knowing some folk on this forum, if I mention that the guys in the Golf were Asian it'll probably become their fault all of a sudden. Rolling Eyes

It is not the colour it's the deffinision , like when they are constantly up your arse trying to get past making you rush and being generally annoying.

sorry in advance Duel.
