That time again and this year the cheapest is........ Just Motorcycle Insurance at £106 pounds. Never heard of them, has anyone else?

The first I have heard of in the list is Hastings direct, £12 more. Worth paying the difference? Both comprehensive with £350 compulsory excess. Fucking MCE quote a £600 excess Shocked

I hate insurance.

I don't see a problem with that unless you are planning on making a claim.

I've been with them for 3 years now, and my excess is around £1100 for the 2 bikes, but they are still almost £100 cheaper than the next lowest

MCE spammed BCF and that is truly unforgivable therefore you shouldn't insure your bike with them. Wink

I have fully comp incase I chuck my bike up the road. I'd rather have 250 quid in my pocket than in theirs.

Amazingly MCE were over £50 more expensive than JMC. There were 8 companies cheaper than them in my comparison.

Isn't it Hastings Direct who wouldn't pay out for someone's bike because he hadn't told them panniers were fitted (for that week only iirc) but they still took the bike + panniers and sold it as salvage.

and also sold a guy's bike as salvage (recovering from police pound) while the guy was in a coma and hadn't made a claim or received any payout?

could be two parts of the same story but I seem to remember a number of people on here telling tales of their own and others experiences with them.

I was going to go with Hastings, two weeks before insurance was due, they were showing fully comp at the same price that I paid for tpft last year with swinton. Came to take it out and it had gone up to over £600 (original quote was £161).

Ended up with Entire Cover for a fraction over £200 with two years no claims on CBT.

I am with just motorcycle. They seem like a decent company but I hate all insurers equally so you never know.

They did send me an automatic renewal quote of more than what I was paying. So I called them and said WTF ?

That's the best we can do. Oh yeah, but how about on the comparison site you are quoted at less than the best you can do. Oh, can you give me the reference number.

Then some guy halved what was on the comparison site so in the end a good result but I just hate these insurance companies/scam artists.
