Does anyone have experience with these?

https://www.coxhonda.co.uk/honda-cbr1000rr-0405-ulock-123217-p-3515779.html

I can't find any actual details about how good it is, say compared to a generic, and no doubt much cheaper version, as I'm guessing these are mostly a visual deterrent and would not take too much to get through for the determined?

It would not be used as main security, just once in a while at the shops, cinema etc.

Or does anyone know of another lock that fits in the tiny space?

Many thanks.

Like all other locks, they keep honest people away from your possessions.

It will work fine as a visual deterrent, keep the lock well lubed so that you can get it off when you need to.

Close fitting quality padlock through brake disk remains one of my favourites for scrote deterrent, just remember to remove it before moving off.

I forgot, once.

I have disc locks on my other bikes, as they have more room under the seat, and got one of the reminder cables to stop me from riding off and forgetting Sad

My question was more about if the £95 Honda lock is any better than a normal cycle U lock, that I could maybe get for a fraction of the price, if the only real benefit is a visual/opportunist deterrent.

Assuming I could find one the right size, which I'm not especially confident about.

If you want a really good U lock for cheaper check out the Kryptonite M18-WL only issue is it probably won't fit under your seat. I own one and put it through a rear spoke and the chain the only easy defeat is lifting the bike up.
