Today i turned up at the test center in gateshead expecting to do my Mod 2 test (resit), but instead i was turned away as the booking had not been added to the system. My instructor was sure that she named the test on Tuesday (online) and also checked on the Thursday (yesterday) after my lesson to make sure that everything was good.

This test which was booked through the instructor was not carried into the DVLA system.

Is there anything i can do to claim back expenses, the test fee is being carried over by the bike school, but what i'm most annoyed about is taking 2 days holiday for nothing.

What evidence can you show that the test was booked?

Of course your instructor is "sure" that she booked it. She's hardly going to say anything else. Was there any "not this shit again" eye rolling from DVSA Derek, perchance?
