in january i want to take my restricted bike test....
by then i will have been riding my 50cc .geared. bike for about 6 months.

the bike im looking at is a vfr400 but will this be too much for insurance, also servicing and running costs. i think the way the bike shows its back wheel is stunning.

what am i looking at all together for one of these..
(money wise that is)

is this a good seccond bike, i mean obviously its a vast step up from my kawasaki ar50..

also i dont want a 125 as i really want to be able to carry a pillion

I am doing the same in 2 months,

you are looking at about £1000-2000 for the bike, <1000 for insurance, and 350 ish for the lessons and test.

I would get myself a bulk of cash, roughly £3000, work out your costs etc then go for it.

Good Luck with the test. Karma Thumbs Up

i've gone:

16 - RS50 for 12 months.
17 - RS125 for 9 months RVF400 for the remaining 3.

I've being told expect up to £800 on insurance, which is what i expected but with a little playing around i'm sure i can get it down.

Or just contact Danny, for £30 he guarantees to lower your insurance, and does, by a lot!
