Mmm, I've just split a sliding pin boot on a Brembo caliper. Googling "rubber boots" isn't that useful (unless you turn Safe Search off then you get Tritey's missus).

I don't want a "kit", or replacement pins, just a small generic rubber boot which should cost pennies to make. Don't make me go into an actual shop and talk to a human, BCF.

£4.95
but that's a "triumph" one, but they're likely all the same?

https://www.triumphparts.co.uk/product.php/5733058/

or are these different things from what you are talking about??

Do me, do me. Bounce!

I want to pay 99p for a surly bloke named Dave to grab a generic 7mm-ish sliding pin boot out of a barrel and sling it in an envelope. Make it so.

Does that mean you have a source? I'm happy buying retail rather than scrounging fur 50p furra cuppa boots.

sorry r'borg I misinterpreted your post the first time I read it.
(Still not convinced you were serious)

yes various rubber bit's n' bobs (oh err..) listed on ebay

https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Motorcycle-Parts-/10063/i.html?_fspt=1&_mPrRngCbx=1&_from=R40&_nkw=brake+caliper++rubber+boot

which I'm sure you have already looked at.
there are companies obviously churning these out for the car/motorcycle industry. Would be nice if you could walk into autoparts and get a 'bag of assorted rubber boots' for £1
I guess there's not a big enough demand.

so e.g.

https://www.discountbikespares.co.uk/shop/search.php?pageid=1221342&q=brake+slider+pin+boot

have you over a barrel for pricing

unless someone knows better?

Yup, that's the kind of links I've been finding. £4 and up, if I have to pay it I have to pay it, I just feel that someone somewhere would throw a handful at me to make me go away.
