Gave the CBF a proper clean and polish, got it all gleaming (and a bit rusty).

Took it for its second MOT this morning, and it got one advisory (slack chain...) and did it straight away. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

There was a piece of metal in the tyre that I was worried would cause an issue, but it had gone in at an angle so no damage to the tyre itself.

And picked up some new oil - thats the job for the morning before work.

Id be more concerned about the foreign object in the tyre, and it not blowing out later then posting on BCF.

I was, so much so that when I booked in for the MOT, I mentioned it. It was just under an inch long (i'd guess), looked like a nail with the head sheared off. The tester checked it out and said that I had got very lucky because it had gone in through the main tread and at an angle, but I have already ordered a replacement tyre.
