I all just wondering if anyone has any experience of the fuel injected CBF600 engine. I have a weird problem that when starting from cold the engine feels like its hold back for a couple of minutes then a small surge will happen and all will be normal. It happens every time the bike is stopped not just cold starts. Its like the ecu resets or something once you get the mini surge and all is well.. I believe this is the same engine as the cbr600 so it might have the same issue? The FI light is not flashing and everything else seems normal I have had this issue for about a year and have just been living with it but thought I would post it on here in-case its an easy fix.

Does it have secondary butterflies? It sounds like they are sticking when the power is off then freeing up after a bit of a rev.
