NIce refresh - looks like you rattle-canned the tank though, so don't spill any fuel on it. It's like paint stripper on acetone based paint/ ____________________ Now: A100, GT250A, XJ598, FZ750

Wait a few days- week until paint is properly hard, then wipe an inconspicuous area with a fuel damped rag.. ____________________ Now: A100, GT250A, XJ598, FZ750

Interesting, I was considering (at some point) I might paint the tank, mudguards, etc. on my old bike. Probably get a pro to do it rather than cock it up myself
What sort of paint & lacquer would you recommend for a tank? ____________________ Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, Yamaha XSR700, Honda Rebel, Yamaha DT175, Suzuki SV650 (loan) Fazer 600, Keeway Superlight 125, 50cc turd scooter |

I'd ask the question in a new thread or search it's been asked many times and you'll get better answers than mine. Short answer is 2k lacquer for fuel resistance. You can buy it in an aerosol/rattle can. The two parts get mixed when you pull a tab or something, then you have a few hours to use it before it cures in the can is my understanding. ____________________ Now: A100, GT250A, XJ598, FZ750
