Bandit 12 (K3) 21000 making "shhh"ing noise?

Morning all,

I noticed on the way home the other morning (From a night out) a kind of “shhh....shhh....shhh” noise coming from the bike. Sounds like a blinkin steam train. This only happens when in gear and going along and is a lot more prevalent in 5th gear. As soon as I pull the clutch in it goes away. The fast I go the faster the noise gets. It’s a slow shhhing pulsing noise.

I don’t appear to be losing power at all and at idle it ticks over nicely. The only other issue I have going on at the moment is the exhaust is blowing at the collection box which is really common on Bandits. It’s been blowing for a couple of months so I don’t think it’s anything to do with that.

Any ideas.
