Factor that in, plus a further £15 raping from Parcel Farce (I believe USPS passes to them) for doing the job that they've already been paid to do.

Ordering from the States is my last resort.

I would be worried that you will not be able to use it in the UK or get it unlocked from their network..
Although a quick google does seem to indicate its a free unlock. Just depends on how tech you are.
Just remember unlocking it will invalidate any warranty, that you might have.

CPW sell PAYG for 89.00.

For the sake of a few £££ a much better option. Given you know you are getting a UK spec and have backup to sort any issues.

AFAIK the phone should work here otherwise if they used different frequency's in the US
all manufacturers would need to make specific units for different country's
and I know a few yanks that use there US phones her so should not be an issue

Their 4G frequencies are different. I remember a website, gsmarena maybe where you can find out what frequency bands different phones use, amongst other information that is.

IIRC my 4G worked fine when I was in the USA the other month. I got charged £6/mb for using it, but that wasn't the phone's fault.

Even so. A Motorola. You hate your cousin that bad? Why not give the guy a break and just clamp his skateboard?

its possible there is overlaps as the Uk uses 3 bands for 4G

800 Mhz
1.8 Ghz
2.6 Ghz

Id assume this is to do with how far you are away from a tower and signal quality
been years since I looked at the radio spectrum (old Ham operator)
