You can think you're as much of an economic genius as you want, their isn't a hope in hell's chance I'd put you in charge of the UK economy.
I might give you a shot in a communist country, but anything in the developed world? No thanks. |
So why would you put somebody who has a history degree in charge?
You realise that they don't really have any plan and are merely muddling through the best they can right?
Plus you think I'm communist? You do realise that the UK had close to 50% of GDP as public spending right? The UK during 2005-2010 was more communist than East Germany which only got up to about 30%.
I am actually a non interventionist. Don't subsidise, don't bail out, don't interfere don't mandate and don't restrict (many things). Within a short time all of the problems resolve themselves.
Help to buy, tax credits, housing benefit, JSA, state pensions, aircraft carriers etc all seem very subsidy to me and are the antithesis what I want. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. I'm sorry but I noticed that you were completely unable to refute my argument with any sound counter arguments and therefore turned to insults. |
No, you mistook my sarcasm for not wanting to answer your wall of text.
In reality, I was getting bored with you slagging off our Exchequer and pretending that you know better.
I've already said several times, that I would not want you in charge of the UK economy, no matter how awesome you think you are.
Why don't you stand as a politician as you know better than they do?
How many countries economies have you ran?

We have a winner. |
Do you not see how you "knowing" you could do a better job of running the UK economy, could come across as being a tad, you know, arrogant?
No, probably not. We're trying to debate the budget not your economic awesomeness. There's a huge difference in an opinion and pretending you know better. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

That's the transport budget. Probably includes trains, airports, and bus subsidies too. |

In 1993, Osborne intended to pursue a career in journalism. He was shortlisted for but failed to gain a place on The Times trainee scheme, and instead did freelance work on the Peterborough diary column of The Daily Telegraph. Some time later, an Oxford friend of his, journalist George Bridges, alerted Osborne to a research vacancy at Conservative Central Office. |

While this worked very well for the boomers and those in debt, the money supply (real inflation goods prices going up is merely a symptom of inflation).
It will NOT work this time.
As if labour costs increase too much there are robots, Indians and Chinese to step in. |
Right, I'm going to answer your ill thought out post in full then.
He is not going to erode a £1.5 Trillion debt by adding 80p an hour to the lowest paid, rising by another £1.80 per hour over the next 5 years. Thinking that's his reason is, well, lets say, not the thoughts of a rational thinker.
If you took your conspiracy hat off, do you not think it's possible that all he's trying to do is what he said he was going to do all along?
You know, the bit about addressing the balance by which some people are better off sitting on their arse claiming benefits rather than working? It was always going to be a budget for working people and about time someone made an effort to redress the balance. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

Most successful graduate I've had under my charge had a degree in history. Worst ever a business degree.
Why are we even suggesting a degree is in some way a qualification for role or a barometer of intelligence, again? |
Well him above bought it up. He essentially said he's more qualified than you and therefore he knows better. Except he isn't which kind of poo poo'd his argument which is why he needed to turn to insults rather quickly. |
So, how many countries economies have you been in charge of again? How did you get on with their recovery?
You confuse having an educational degree as being the only type of qualification. And because Osbourne's was in history and yours was in conspiracy economics or something, that automatically makes you a better prospect to look after the UK economy, than someone with 5 years experience behind him and successful results.
As you can see, I don't agree. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

When this MLW is introduced surely this defeats the point of trying to progress. There are heaps jobs now that are full time starting on £18k or less. May as well not bother with the hassle of trying to move up the ladder and just doss off on an £18k a year job. Why wouldn't you? ____________________ My Flickr |
