damp patch when I park

Hi all

I have noticed a damp patch just under engine whenever I park, I m suspicious about the oil as it s just under the drain plug, however it only happened after I filled up with petrol

If you filled it right to the very brim then parked it in the sun it probably let some out of the overflow.

must be that, left it on central stand and no patches.

I thought i had a brake fluid leak once. But braking system fine and no fluid lost. Turned out to be cat piss. Similarly my seat appears to absorb rainwater from time to time. Of course there was the time the bike spart a load of petrol from the carb breathers...
